On Friday May 15, Centennial College and Connect4Life will co-host Inclusive Emergency Preparedness for People of All Abilities, a special event that shows people with disabilities and seniors how to be prepared for any emergency or natural disaster.

As a vital part of our Strategic Planning process we would like to engage 6 - 8 members in a virtual focus group. We only need to meet one time.

We would like to meet on Monday May 4th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm

An honorarium of $75.00 will be provided to each individual that joins us.

Attention: Important Tax Update!

We wanted to share a helpful tool from the CRA that could help some people get extra money back this year. Budget 2025 has introduced some big changes to make sure everyone gets the benefits they’re entitled to, like the Canada Child Benefit and the GST/HST credit.

Big News: Starting in the 2026 tax year, the CRA is rolling out automatic tax filing for people with simple tax situations. This means if you have a lower income and don't owe taxes, the CRA might handle the filing for you!

SimpleFile: If you're eligible, you can file over the phone or digitally in minutes. Check your CRA "My Account" to see if you're invited!

Free Tax Clinics: If taxes feel overwhelming, there are volunteers who will do them for you for free.
